Cover Corp is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the character intellectual property (IP) development of virtual entertainers VTuber who are active using motion capture technology and anime look avatars, and the management of hololive production. The Company operates through the VTuber business segment, which is divided into four business areas. The distribution/content business provides video content through the video distribution platform, and also provides music content through the music streaming service. The live/event business provides offline or online events such as live concerts, fan meetings, and domestic and overseas exhibitions. The merchandising business sells character goods and digital contents based on VTuber IP. The licensing/tie-up business provides the right to use proprietary IP to manufacturers of external products or contents, and provides promotion and media appearances of other companies by VTuber through tie-up advertisements.
