Local Bounti Corporation is an indoor agriculture company. The Company utilizes its patented Stack & Flow Technology to grow food sustainably. Its proprietary process is a hybrid, utilizing vertical farming in early plant growth, followed by greenhouse farming for final grow out. The Company operates advanced indoor growing facilities across the United States, servicing approximately 13,000 retail doors. It uses 90% less water, 90% less land, and significantly less pesticides and herbicides than traditional outdoor agriculture operations. It has approximately 27 stock keeping units (SKUs) across living and loose leaf lettuce, organic and conventional, cress and value add product lines. Its Montana Facility incorporates its patented Stack & Flow Technology, including five operational greenhouses, a cold storage room for finished goods and a packaging room with processing equipment to transform freshly harvested produce into packaged goods that are ready for retail shelves.
