Epetraborole is an investigational, boron-containing, orally bioavailable, small molecule inhibitor of bacterial leucyl-tRNA synthetase (LeuRS), an enzyme that catalyzes the attachment of leucine to transfer RNA (tRNA), molecules, an essential step in protein synthesis.
