Houston American Energy Corp. is an independent oil and gas company focused on the development, exploration, exploitation, acquisition, and production of natural gas and crude oil properties. In the United States, the Company's principal properties and operations are located in the onshore Permian Basin and Gulf Coast region of Louisiana. The Company holds an approximately 18.1% average working interest in 320 gross acres in Reeves County, Texas, consisting of the 160 gross acre Johnson Lease, in which it holds a 25% working interest, subject to a proportionate 5% back-in after payout, and the 160 gross acre O’Brien Lease, in which it holds an average 11.2% working interest. The Company holds a 15.9% average working interest, subject to a proportionate 10% back-in after payout, in an approximately 360 gross acre block in Yoakum County, Texas. Its sole property in Louisiana consists of a 23.4% mineral interest in 2,485 gross acres in East Baton Rouge Parish.
