Cibus, Inc. is an agricultural technology company that uses gene editing technologies to develop plant traits in seeds. Its business is the development of plant traits that help address specific productivity or yield challenges in farming, such as traits addressing plant agronomy, disease, insects, weeds, nutrient-use, or the climate. It is also engaged in developing, certain alternative plant-based oils or bio-based fermentation products. Its technology is its gene editing platform called the Rapid Trait Development System (RTDS).
