Zhang Pingan, executive director of Huawei and CEO of HUAWEI Cloud Computing, announced a breakthrough in AI infrastructure architecture at the HUAWEI CLOUD Ecosystem Conference 2025 on the 10th — the launch of the CloudMatrix 384 supernode cluster based on a new high-speed bus architecture, and announced that it has already been launched at the Wuhu data center. As the only large-scale supernode cluster officially commercialized in China, it can provide surging and sufficient intelligent computing power for AI inference, and accelerate the intelligent transformation of thousands of industries. Zhang Pingan said, “Facing the AI era, HUAWEI CLOUD will firmly build an AI computing power base with 'independent innovation, security and trust', and rely on Shengteng AI cloud services to promote rapid AI development and implementation in all walks of life; firmly cultivate the industry, use the Pangu model as an engine to create industry ToB solutions and reshape thousands of industries; and firmly promote ecological construction and explore the sea of AI with partners and customers.” Zhang Pingan explained that up to now, the big Pangu model has been applied in more than 30 industries and more than 400 scenarios, such as mining, railways, manufacturing, and physical intelligence.
