The National Data Administration released news on the 23rd that according to the newly issued “Trusted Data Space Development Action Plan”, by 2028, China will build more than 100 trusted data spaces, forming a number of data space solutions and best practices. Focusing on the overall goal, the action plan lays out three key tasks: implementing trustworthy data space capacity building actions to build a core competency system for trusted data spaces by building trusted management and control capabilities, improving resource interaction capabilities, and strengthening value co-creation capabilities; carrying out trustworthy data space cultivation and promotion actions, mainly laying out five types of trusted data space construction and application promotion for enterprises, industries, cities, individuals, and cross-border; exploring scenario innovation, model innovation, and mechanism innovation in various data spaces; promoting trustworthy data space foundation building actions around formulating key standards, exploring core technologies, and improving basic services , strengthen standardized management, expand the five aspects of international cooperation, and comprehensively consolidate the foundation for the development of a trusted data space.
