NBBO provides a consolidated view of market quotes (latest prices, tick-by-tick, and trading volume) covering 16 U.S. exchanges and FINRA Trade Reporting Facility (TRF).

National Best Bid and Offer (NBBO) was created by the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) to help ensure that brokers provide their customers with the best available bid and ask prices when buying and selling securities.

1. Order book: best bids and asks from 16 U.S. exchanges

An order book is a list of orders that presents different offers from buyers and sellers for a specific security. It shows the prices and volumes that traders in the market are willing to buy and sell the security for.

NBBO Quotes presents the best bid & ask by collecting bids and asks from 16 U.S. exchanges. You can switch to Details mode to view all top of book quotes (if any) for individual exchanges. Note that an order book needs to meet quantity requirement (at least 100 shares) before it can appear in NBBO Quotes.
