What are OPRA Quotes?

The Options Price Reporting Authority (OPRA) disseminates consolidated last sale and quotation information originating from SEC approved national securities exchanges to provide markets for the listing and trading of exchange-traded securities options.

1. Best Bid & Offer (BBO) of OPRA Quotes

An order book is a list of orders that presents different offers from buyers and sellers for a specific security. It shows the prices and volumes that traders in the market are willing to buy and sell the security for.

With OPRA Quotes, you can see the best bid & offer from 16 regional exchanges. Switching to the Detailed mode allows you to view all top of book quotes (if any) for individual exchanges.

2. Time & sales of OPRA Quotes

Below the Order Book, Time & sales (Tick-by-tick Data) shows every trade that occurs and provides volume, price, direction, and time data for each trade.

With OPRA Quotes, you can not only see the time & sales transaction data of 16 regional exchanges, but also know the exchange executed by each transaction data.

3. List of exchanges covered by OPRA Quotes

The table below shows the 16 regional exchanges that collect OPRA pricing information.
