Learn to Trade on Charts

Webull offers multiple ways to initiate a trade. We’ll go over the most common ones, the trade button or directly from the chart.

1. Trade the Regular Way

You can initiate a trade by tapping on the blue trade button to the bottom left of the navigation bar on any symbol page.

2. Trade on the Chart

You can place an order quickly by long pressing within the chart area, choose "Buy" or "Sell" and your order confirmation page will be filled in at the price point pressed on the chart.

3. Open Orders and Positions on Your Chart

If you have open orders or positions in a stock, they'll be shown at corresponding prices on the symbols chart. You can also modify open orders or trade existing positions on the chart with these steps: Open orders: Tap the order and drag to modify, edit or cancel. Positions: Tap the position and choose what to do. When open orders and positions overlap, the latest order will be displayed first with other orders and positions hidden.
