Wire Deposit Guidelines

  • ACH wire delivery type is not accepted.
  • Ensure that your wire description includes both your full name and your Webull account number.
  • Wire deposits must originate from bank accounts in your own name; wires from third parties are not accepted.
  • Domestic wires use ABA numbers. International wires use SWIFT codes. Intermediary banks may deduct fees from international transfers.
  • Wire transfers cannot be reversed. Please verify details before sending.
  • There is no limit on wire deposits.

Wire Returns

If your wire deposit to Webull was returned, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

  1. Incorrect information: The transfer may have been returned because of incorrect beneficiary details, bank information, or routing numbers. Ensure you follow Webull's wiring instructions precisely and double-check all entered details.
  2. Missing Webull account number: Make sure your Webull account number is included in the reference or memo field of the wire. Omitting this information can cause delays or returns.
  3. Omission of "FFC" field: For international wires, include your name in the "For Further Credit" (FFC) field if an intermediary bank is involved. Failing to do so may result in the wire being returned.
  4. No third-party wires: Only use your personal bank account for wires. Webull does not accept third-party wires, including those from business, trust, or custodial accounts. Ensure the wire matches the Webull account holder's name.
  5. Same-day wire option: Some banks may require selecting a "same day wire" option for immediate processing. If not selected, the transaction might be processed as an ACH transfer, which may not credit your Webull account. Check with your bank if you opted for this service.

What's the fee?

Wire return fees vary depending on whether your account is under the Apex Clearing arrangement or Webull Omnibus. To confirm with arrangement your account falls under, please click here.

Webull Omnibus

If your wire transfer is returned due to incorrect, mismatched, or invalid beneficiary information, a return fee of up to 10% of the transfer amount or $100, whichever is lower, may be applied. Additionally, fees from the originating bank, intermediary banks, or the recipient's bank may also be charged.

Apex Clearing
