Internal Cash Transfers


Internal cash transfers are available for most Webull account types. Please note that this service is only available for accounts that are accessed under the same login credentials.


How do I initiate an internal transfer of cash?

Internal transfers are available on all Webull platforms. You can transfer up to the full amount available to withdraw. Please follow the steps below to navigate through our Webull mobile app, website, and intuitive desktop application:


App:

  1. Tap on the Webull logo (bottom center).
  2. Select the receiving account you wish to transfer to.
  3. Select Transfers ➝ Transfer Money
  4. Tap Choose an Account to select where to transfer from.
  5. Enter the transfer amount, tap Review and Submit.

Web:

  1. Navigate to My Account.
  2. Select Deposit ➝ Webull Account.
  3. Fill in the Deposit From, Deposit to, and Amount sections.
  4. Click Submit.

Desktop:

  1. Navigate to Account.
  2. Under the Banking widget, click Deposit.
  3. Select Webull Account.
  4. Fill in the Deposit From, Deposit to, and Amount sections.
  5. Click Submit.

Note: For advisor and futures accounts, please initiate transfers directly within the respective accounts. You cannot push cash into these accounts from elsewhere; transfers must be requested from within the account itself.


How long does it take?

Cash transfers are processed instantly. Please note that requests made before 6:00 PM EST can be completed on the same day. Requests made after 6:00 PM EST or during weekends will be processed on the next business day.


When can I transfer internally?

After you make a new deposit into your account, you must wait until the deposit hold period has ended before you can submit an internal transfer request. The hold periods are as follows, beginning from the date of initiation:


  • Wire Transfer: 0–1 business day after the deposit date
  • ACH Transfer: 5-6 business days after the deposit date

Once the deposit hold period has passed, you can submit your internal transfer request using the process described above. Please be aware that other account activity may impact the amount available for transfer.
